Special Symposium of TBIS 2010
 
 
“Safer Textiles, Healthier Life” International Symposium (TBIS2010sp) is a special session for TBIS 2010 “Greener Textiles, Healthier Life” International Symposium, which will devote special attention to safety, hygiene and environmental protection of textiles and apparel. It will focus on both the influence of textiles and apparel on human safety and healthy and the impact of manufacture and consumption of textiles and apparel on environment. This special session will set up a stage to gather professional researchers together in order to discuss the technical requirements for textiles and apparel safety and environmental protection as well as the related inspection approach. It will bring excellent opportunities for specialists to exchange research findings face to face and to follow the latest trends in this field accordingly.

All participants attending TBIS2010sp are invited to submit papers in following key areas:  
 
-  The progress on international technical regulation and standards for safety of textiles and apparel
-  Risk analysis and evaluation of textiles and apparel
-  Safety targets of textiles and apparel and their inspection approach
-  Lifecycle of textiles and theory of carbon
-  Label and certification of textiles and apparel
 
 
The official language of the conference is English.
 
 
 
Full paper should be submitted in a given format “Author Instruction” in MS Word. The specific format can be available in TBIS2010sp Website (http://www.tbisociety.org/conference2010/journal.asp, table3). (The length of the paper is 6-8 pages). Publications:
 
All accepted papers will be collected in TBIS 2010 proceedings in CD, and will be presented to you while you attend the conference in May. TBIS 2010 proceedings will also apply for CPCI (ISTP) indexing as well. In addition, high quality research papers will be selected to publish in Journal of Fiber Bioengineering and Informatics (JFBI) and/or other international journals.
